really liked it

THis was a book about friendship and how it can change the peoples lives forever. A shy girl was scared of high school. Mia was approached by Lexi who simply said hello and asked to sit next to Mia. They bacame fast friends and had alot in common. Mia had a brother Zach, Zach was the opposite of Mia. He was popular, but he was also a twin. Mia and Zach did almost everything together even after Lexi came along. Lexi became part of the family. Their senior year was a lot of drinking parties and one fateful night there was an accident that changed lives forever. I cried through most of this just thinking about my old job and the lives I saw ruined because of drinking and bad decisions. Lexi paid for her crime in a womens prison. She also had Zach's baby girl while in custody. She signed all rights over to Zach thinking Grace would have the same childhood that Zach and Mia had. Jude, the twins mother was not the same after Mia's death. Grace was in kindergarten when Lexi got out of prison. Lexi went to see Grace and found out the girl was very unhappy. She inturn fought to get custody of Grace. People finally had to face the fact that since Mia the whole family was lost. In the end they started to repair and to hurt but not let depression overwhelm them. It was a great book. Anyone who has children should read this book.
