I've had this as my 'bedtime' book for months, which probably wasn't the best idea, as there's quite a lot of story to keep track of. But I read the last two thirds of it in one chunk this morning. This novel is set in the same universe as Leckie's 'Ancillary' trilogy, but comes from a very different viewpoint: the Radchaai make an appearance, but they're not major players in this. 'Provenance' is a twisty political thriller, with all sorts of conflicting loyalties and motivations in play; I'd like to reread the 'Ancillary' series again, and follow it up with this, to see what I missed.
