This novel is touted as a "beach book", but I think it deserves a much more elevated term than that. I AM Nora, Peyton, and even the waspish Aunt Augusta, as I think, we all have a little bit of the ephemeral from whence came before us. Beautiful prose. I can't imagine anyone, male or female, that a part or parts of this gorgeous southern novel would not resonate with.
