This was a sweet, heartfelt memoir by a father who was a son with autism. If you've never read a book about someone with autism you may appreciate this book more than I did. Because I've read a few books about people on the autism spectrum and I have a close friend whose child has autism, I didn't find this book to be especially eye-opening. The other books on the subject had more of an empact on me and for that reason I considered giving this book 2 stars. However, this father still had his story to tell and I was glad to have read it.
