I can’t believe F. Paul Wilson doesn’t get more hype. He is a seriously GOOD writer. A fine story teller. This is a story of vampires..(sorry)..however, it’s much, much more! It’s about faith, religion, community, following your heart and all that good stuff! Vampires are taking over the earth..and like “The City of the Dead (Book No. 58 of my 2006 Book List!) they’ve taken over New York City. Oh..and it’s got a nun who is also a demolition expert (well, she was a chemistry teacher). She ROCKS! It’s also got a priest who becomes a vampire by accident…but he’s still a godo guy! I loved this character! (My friend Lisa would love this book::hi Lisa:::waving::::) A very well written adventure..much better than the Brian Keene books (see Book Nos. 55 & 58 of my 2006 Book List!)…you know…if you read that kind of thing. Book #59 of my 2006 Book List, finished reading it on 12-7-06.
