(Reviewed December2019/January2020 & February 2020 Issues) This magazine is jam-packed with topics, pictures, games, articles, factoids, puzzles and so much more. Elementary students of all agents will enjoy this magazine. The cover of the December/January cover featured Polar Bear Cubs, superimposed with insets for about Norse Mythology, with a picture of Elsa from Frozen, and a feature about Penguin Selfies. The February issue features Emperor Penguin Families with insets about a cool poster and another about a Sun Bear Rescue.

Once inside the magazine, readers will note how articles vary from small factoids with large photos printed to longer-form articles with pictures, tables, and maps that relate to the article at hand. Near the end of the magazine are lighter side pieces of games and puzzles.

This magazine is a great introduction exploration magazine, down to the iconic yellow border of the cover indicative of the magazine’s parent publication. Younger elementary readers can scan the pictures and read the factoids while older elementary readers will enjoy the articles and information presented within. A must for any elementary library or household.
