it was amazing

"Occult Noir"? Whatever you call it, it's easy to see why Warren Ellis called this his "all-time favorite graphic novel." It's an absolute masterpiece. Some people are not overly fond of Moore's complex, methodical style of storytelling where everything fits together precicesly and perfectly, but I'm not one of those. You can tell on every paget that this was a labor (or labour in Moore's case) of love, a story he wanted to tell, a project he whole-heartedly believed in. It's dense, complex, dark, beautiful and horrifying.
