Told from the perspective of Cleopatra, this is an intriguing piece of historical fiction about one of the most fascinating, enigmatic, and powerful women in history.
In theory - the next bit isn't spoiler-y. I'm sure most people actually know the story of Cleopatra's life...
I was disappointed in the ending - rushed through... Caesar dies, then the next few years are in an epilogue, written just before her suicide.
