it was ok

A charming and entertaining retelling of the classic “Three Little Pigs” tale, David Wiesner allows the three little pigs to escape out of their book, fly on a paper airplane to meet the characters from “Hey Diddle Diddle” and a dragon. Ultimately, all of the characters return to the third pig’s brick house (and hence change from being represented as more realistic images to cartoon representations) and live together happily ever after. This book is of great value because it successfully teaches children the concept of alternate endings and examines print concepts (such as lettering and page sequencing) in an interesting way.
