This book is great for prediction or comparing and contrasting. The 7 blind mice each describe a different part of the elephant, but think it something else because they cannot feel the whole elephant. This can show that perspectives are different for some people than others. It also teaches colors, as each mouse is a different color. This book is simple enough that a kindergartner could understand it and eventually read independantly.
