Definitely another product of its time. I did enjoy the camp-factor a bit, but it was definitely a skim-read to get a sense of the story instead of a deeper read, taking in more details like the drawings and inking. There is something interesting in reading this now, as a retro-futurist type of comic. Kirk gets cloned by Klingons so that they can frame the Federation for something, magnetic tape gets invented that can hold worlds and human/animal patters in storage indefinitely and are lots of space funnels (like space whirlpools that suck your ship in)...and a psychedelic space museum of sorts.
