liked it

A solid, concise, no frills semi-autobiography of Miss Davis. I liked how much she was able to speak for herself, while the author's commentary and anecdotes from those who knew Bette offered objectivity. Unfortunately, this is my first book on Davis, so I have nothing to compare it to.
