did not like it
bookshelves: first-reads, did-not-finish

Did Not Finish. This seems like a fun, quick read, but I just could not get in to the story. A woman of a 'certain age' becomes literally invisible after feeling ignored and unappreciated by her husband and son. She has a story that many women will most likely relate with easily: she has given up many of her desires and dreams in order to raise a family and support her husband, seemingly losing her own identity in the process.

I felt like I was being hit over the head with the concept, and I became simply annoyed that her husband did not even notice she was invisible. This was just not a book for me, but I imagine a lot of people will love the flowy and quirky writing.

I won a review copy of this through GoodReads FirstReads.
