Oh my god!! You ever read a book so good you're already thinking how you can't wait to read it again in a year or two, when all the best bits will seem new again? What a delightfully weird and wonderful and beautiful little book. There were so many lines that I stopped to read over and over, they were so vivid; so many places I was just itching to post-it-note and come back to later. Alas, though, this is a library copy, so I'll just have to buy my own later and post-it-note it mercilessly.

Also, on a related note, where is my time-traveling girlfriend? MY slow-burn enemies-to-lovers billion-year romance? I have so much fancy gold-edged stationery that is as of yet unused. If you are a secret time agent/four-eyed six-legged wolf/cyborg with guns for hands etc., HMU.
