This was an excellent bio of the Duchess. It was sympathetic, but also acknowledges her flaws. It seems that the UK was well rid of Edward VIII - not only was he greedy, with a huge sense of entitlement, he had no sense of duty or responsibility. One quibble I had with the book was that there are some pictures of interesting things (to me) that had captions that seemed to refer back to the text - but the text never mentions the item in the picture.
