it was amazing

Overview: Toni Lindblom’s second chapter of the Source of Power Trilogy, “Birth of a God”, continues with a new race of intergalactic beings joining the fray, upsetting the balance of armies and world governments as the search for the source of infinite power diligently moves forward.

In “Birth of a God”, Author Tony Lindblom’s well-developed—and now familiar—main protagonists lead readers on a supercharged Sci-Fi adventure in which they are each overtaken by raw emotion and obsession to complete their individual missions, whether it be for vengeance, obedience, wealth, power, or romance.

The complexity and scope of Lindblom’s writing in this novel series is simply astonishing. Space opera fans, in particular, will enjoy reading about the diverse pantheon of alien beings that the author has created, just as much as how he seamlessly fits each individual character—no matter how small and seemingly insignificant—into the grand scheme of things. By the same token, techies will revel in the futuristic equipment and technology employed by the denizens of these worlds.

Lindblom has honed his writing skills in “Birth of a God”, compared to “Spark of Imagination”, the first chapter of the Source of Power Trilogy, making it a pleasant read for those readers bothered by typos, misspellings, and tenses. With a number of storylines moving forward and propelling the evolution of the story and characters from “Spark of Imagination”, I highly recommend reading “Birth of a God” in its respective order and within the context of the entire novel series.

“Birth of a God” contains graphic violence and adult situations, so it is appropriate only for ages 17 and up. I must also include a warning that sexual abuse survivors may be triggered by certain passages contained within this work.
