bookshelves: young-adult-fiction, fluff

This hovers between two and three stars for me.

Francesca Lia Block is the queen of scene, she makes me want to go to L.A to be in the condos, to go the Tic Toc and all the places Weetzie haunts. That is really the only strong point of the book though. It doesn't hold up to the brilliantness of the Dangerous Angels books. I read the Weetzie sequel a while ago- Necklace of Kisses and felt similarly disappointed. I think she should have left the story alone.
