Beautiful Sweet Romance

Did you have a pen pal? I had a few growing up. They always fizzled out after weeks or maybe months. This is a story about pen pals that were matched in 9th grade, a girl, Isabel, from Portugal, and a boy, who she knows as Elliot from England. The are now 30 and have continued to write to each other but without knowing each other’s first names or any identifying details (they have been sending letters to PO Boxes). Elliot is making a big change in his life and goes email only. Isabel gets hit by a bike one day by a red headed man with freckles. She walks away with some scratches and bruises but is especially frustrated to see the same man that hit her is her new assistant director at an English speaking school. Simon, her new co-worker, notices a letter that the woman he hit with his bike was holding and is shocked by how familiar it looks.

This is such a beautiful sweet romance story. It was a fairly quick read. I highly recommend it!
