it was amazing

I don’t know if my sister, suggesting this book as we made our way through an Asheville bookstore in its last clearance sale, could have pictured the spiritual isolation we’d all find ourselves in over the next few months. But beyond the topical resonance, there are many rewards in this book, from a perfect encapsulation of the resentments of the small towns vs. the big city folk, to the lightness of monastic play. Highly recommended.
