Very interesting, autobiographical narration of a mnemonist 'by chance'. Interesting for the details on the means and tricks for memorization. Entertaining because of the autobiographical point of view. The connection between memory techniques, 'inventio' and creativity is what fascinates me, and relates to my studies at university and personal interest.
I bumped into this book by chance, as I was looking for possible new works of Jonathan Safran Foer (extraordinary author of Everything Is Illuminated, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and Eating Animals) and found this book by his brother, Joshua Foer.
