really liked it
bookshelves: history, nonfiction

An utterly charming glimpse into a young girl's life--and a vivid one, as well. I got that sunny-afternoon, intense joy of life impression from the book that, for me, makes it something to treasure. I rather wish we'd had more from her journals, though. Coco is an engaging personality, and I would have loved to know her even better.
