3.5 stars.

This is a contemporary romance with a splash of paranormal. Elizabeth Marx takes you on a emotional roller coaster as you follow the story of Aiden Palowski and Libby Tucker. I started with Marx's pre-story, Cutters vs. Jocks by Elizabeth Marx which gave me a running start to this book. This book had a potential to be a romantic suspense with mafia bosses, South American drug lords, guns, drugs, blackmail, etc. All these elements are introduced but never really realized because at the center of this book is the relationship between Aiden and LIbby. It is about attraction, heartache, loss, forgiveness and redemption.
