In a nutshell, it is about a teen, Issei, helping his new stepfather, Masaru, who also happens to be a shapeshifting unicorn, pass as human. The comedy is about the troubles he has, since Masaru doesn't know how to cook human food, and Issei has to constantly hide his horse side (hooves clicking through the apartment) from a nosy neighbor. It is heart-warming at points, humorous at others, and the artwork is decent but the characters are pretty much stock characters. That whole virgin thing with the high school student was a bit of a yikes situation, though. Overall, it is funny and heart-warming.

Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review from Seven Seas, via Edelweiss.
