it was amazing

I’ve read a few of this author’s Psy-changeling series and the Angel one and she certainly knows how to keep a reader’s attention. I think this is her first foray away from fantasy and paranormal romance to the real world and it was exceptionally well done. It brings to mind the work of William Kent Kruger and Jane Harper where the landscape and setting is almost a character in its own right and where small town feelings do not welcome outsiders. This was excellent and psychologically in depth so if you like plenty of gun toting, heart pounding action, then this probably won’t do it for you! I absolutely loved it. Recommended.
