really liked it
Read from April 17 to 20, 2012

An unusual book from Maria Mitchell. This book had all the Latin flare, Spanish and Mexican influence and Cajun Bayou Gypsies which made it a really different read (probably one of the most different I have read in a bit)plus a read with all the settings I love, I still felt it was missing something. I almost felt it was kind of rushed or important aspects skipped over in its' 180 pages. I think if she would have gone deeper into Magnolia's and Roberto's relationship, it would have bumped it up in ratings for me.

I must say that I do feel that in the works I have read by this author, she really has the ability to go out of the ordinary with her storylines.
