it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-fiction

An excellent book about a young woman growing up on the frontier in Kentucke, the Frontiersman's Daughter isn't a book that I would normally read, but it was a free read from Amazon so I thought I'd give it a try. It ended up being a meaty novel packed with a detailed historial account of life on the frontier with a dash of romance thrown in.

For the record, I'm not a fan of romance novels or Christian novels, but Laura Frantz wasn't overly excessive with either. All in all, it was a great read and I would definitely pick up more of her books having read this first novel of hers.
