really liked it

This was a really fun book! While I couldn't exactly relate to Zadie, I found her very likeable. The pacing of the plot was awesome- I read in the author section that she has written some very successful screenplays and you can tell. I felt like I was watching a hilarious chick-flick as I was reading "The Bachelorette Party." It was a nice surprise to see a 100% platonic friendship between the main character and her (straight) male best friend, who is engaged to her cousin. I also liked reading about a group of people who had grown up in southern California, and didn't all work in "the biz." Plus, the ending was super satisfying.
