it was amazing

Overall Rating: 4.5 stars
Story Rating: 4 stars
Narrator-Staci Glemboski: 5 stars

What I liked or observed:

• Derek was sure Mandy had nefarious purposes towards his grandmother, Alice. He viewed everything Mandi did on the ship through this filter.
• Mandy was very kind and loved other people. A very likeable character.
• Derek was such a sad, misguided person. His life revolved around his work. He was a very difficult person to get along with. He had such a stilted view of life.
• This was a miscommunication/assumptions type of romance. I liked the story, but this type of conflict between characters was not my favorite type, because it was very predictable.
• There was a smooth, coherent flow to this book. This author was a great writer and I will be reading more books by her.
• This was a clean read and I appreciated that.
• The narrator, Staci Glemboski, did an excellent job in differentiating the various characters' voices and made the story come to life. She had a pleasant voice to listen to and I will be looking forward to listening to more books narrated by her.

At my request, I was given a free copy of this audiobook from the author. I have voluntarily left my review and my opinions were my own.
