really liked it

** spoiler alert ** Sea is a sweet story of a young girl's first love. From the beginning it is obvious that she loves her close friend Spider. They began as childhood friends but as the attraction grew stronger she experienced the loss of her mother which led her to isolation from the rest of the people she cared about. As sad as she seems to be after the loss of a close friend, he is always by her side when she needs somebody to lean on. After convincing Sienna to go with her father to a disaster zone, Spider is left alone to think about their complicated relationship.
Sienna also has Spider on her mind during most of her trip, but she meets a new guy named Deni. Se falls for Deni even though it is impossible for them to be together. It is sweet to have hope for them, but it is pointless for them to try because there is no way for it to work. The will soon be on opposite sides of the world and most relationships cannot last through that kind of stress. They try anyways, at least for a little while. They have a turbulent relationship from the beginning because she is not allowed to date boys there. It doesn't make sense for her to try to have a relationship with Deni, But sometimes reason isn't the deciding factor in a relationship. There relationship becomes even less reasonable when they discover the Deni's fiance, Siti, is still alive. The Indonesian traditions don't accept the ideas of divorce, so Deni is forced to stay with Siti and leave Sienna. After only a few short weeks, Sienna must go home and leave Deni to his newly discovered fiance Siti.
Back home, she rediscovers her feelings for Spider as he expresses his feelings for her. Their romantic relationship brought their friendship closer and in the end she was better off with Spider. Their relationship is far more reasonable and they have a much stronger bond than Sienna had with Deni. Overall, she seems much happier with Spider than she would have been after the drama with Deni was over. Her life is much better off once she arrives home from Indonesia and she is stronger as a person.
I recommend this book to almost any reader. This book has something for everybody and it does not have a lot of complicated vocabulary. The book would be best for people who like romantic books because there are a few interesting relationships in the story.
