A lot of interesting ideas here - will they all pan out? Who knows. But particularly eye-opening was the chapter on food waste. I always new, abstractly, that food waste was a problem. But knowing that it has a potential value of possibly 218 billion dollars in this country alone is staggering, given that food waste, accounts for 5% of methane (a greenhouse gas) released globally makes it an urgent problem. I'm not saying solving food waste will solve all the world's problems, but it will go a long way. Thank you, Amanda, for drawing my attention to this problem.
