A beautiful, tender story about two 15 year old boys caught between adolescence and manhood.

Ari (short for Aristotle) is quick to anger and careful with sharing his thoughts. Dante is the opposite - happy, friendly and content with who he is.

As their friendship deepens, the boys' true feelings about each other are shared.

This book is an excellent and moving read about coming to terms with identity. Both Ari and Dante's families are complex and honest. Nothing in this book feels forced - it slowly unfolds like a flower on a spring day. Its tenderness is rare and lovely. Highly recommended to everyone.
