Thought to be Shakespeare's first history play (yes, I did read it with my copy of Kings and Queens next to me for so that I could weigh everyone's right to the crown during the War of the Roses). It was okay, I had trouble keeping up with all the Dukes. My favorite part was the portrayal of Joan of Arc. I never really thought hard about how the English would feel about her...but it makes sense that they would have her talking to demons, sleeping with the Dauphin of France and then alternately claiming she was a virgin and pregnant in an attempt to save herself from being burned at the stake.
