it was ok

** spoiler alert ** This book was difficult for me to finish. It's hard to say why - it definitely had more going on than the last book, but I felt like it took forever to get there. It could have just been me - life got a little hard for me while I was working my way through this book (I got sick for a while and got really behind on everything) so maybe it was just my frustration from that seeping into my experience, but I just couldn't get into it like I have the others.

The part of the story that bugged me the most was the Perrin/Faiel storyline. He does finally succeed in rescuing her, but instead of feeling a sense of accomplishment and joy, I just felt let down by how it played out. I felt like it dragged on for way too long for no reason, even within this book.
