it was amazing

The Help is a great book for anybody trying to understand the dynamics of discrimination. Although existent, there are many levels to it. Some subconscious and not so cruel, and some consciously hurting. At the same time, it also speaks about the underlying humanity of some people who would rather do away with the system, but sometimes have no choice but to put up with it. It is a great book, with a perfect example of how the lines that we draw between people can be obscured by small steps, at our own level. A must-read for anyone who ever wondered what it felt like to live in an era of discrimination!
