Just what I needed after what seemed a spate of uninspiring reads-turned-did-not-finishers. I can definitely see the comparisons to Georgette Heyer in many of the turns of phrase used as well as the disposition and mannerisms of the characters, although Fellows is still a distant second to Heyer.

These regencies published by Fawcett Crest in the 1970's are almost always a good investment of reading time. Well written, fun, clean and with a pretty good attention to period detail. May I also suggest the books of Sylvia Thorpe (one of my favorite authors of this genre).

Thanks for CLM for the recommendation :)

So far it's been good - just what I needed after a spate of DNFs.
