This is more than a typical crime procedural. It does not solely depend on plot, suspense, and gimmicks. I was most involved with Moe Prager and how he was going to wind through his days in this novel. He is a cool guy - and I liked him a lot. Not gritty, not violent, and a lot of human interest. Kind of a different type of crime book. I liked it.
