it was amazing

It's another summer at cousins beach. This summer Conrad is missing and there is still a love triangle between Belly Conrad and Jeremiah. Although Conrad has hurt Belly she still loves him and wants to be with him. Jeremiah and Conrad get into a fight over Belly because Jeremiah doesn't like how Conrad treats her. Conrad realizes what he really has with Belly, but also how much Jeremiah cares about her.

The book is about loss and sacrifice of and for the people that you love. Belly has to deal with the loss of Susanne who she misses so dearly. It was like losing a mother and friend. Although Susanne wasn't her mother she acted like it. Susanne really understood her and was there through all her troubles with her two sons, Jeremiah and Conrad. Loss is hard to deal at any time in life. Your missing a part of your life that you were so used to or something that meant a lot to you. Thinking about never seeing the person again is difficult. She also experienced loss with Conrad because he is missing and she wants to find him. there is loss there because its like losing your love. She has put in so much with her relationship with Conrad but it just seems to be getting no where. She doesn't find the same love coming back. Its about sacrificing your desires for other people to have what they want. Being selfless because its what is best. Sacrificing love for someone because you love them. Allowing the person freedom to chose who they love and what they want for their life.
