Michelangelo is a mathematician. Numbers are his life. Until he saves a homeless man and takes him home. Bran, hopeless and homeless, goes willingly with the man who saved him, possibly from a beating or worse. Both men’s hearts are going through the motions of beating but neither are really alive. Their meeting might of been accidental but their destiny seemed to be each other.

This wasn’t strictly a romance. Little bit of spy drama. Little bit Pretty Woman (without the hooker part). Entertaining with a tender love story. Slow burn between two men who don’t consider themselves gay.

I liked the writing but the story dragged and seemed disjointed in spots. I also thought that Bran’s trust of Michelangelo was unusually fast based on his background history. That kept it from being 5 stars. The main characters were well done and so were the secondary though. Interesting story.
