While the information is fascinating, the book is too disjointed to recommend. It covers punk, rock, jazz, hip hop, and fusion movements of the mid 70's. I loved the parts that brought back college days and many wonderful nights of seeing the punk bands at the Bottom Line and CBGB's. However, I just could not get beyond the style of the book. I think a good editor would have helped.
