it was ok
bookshelves: lifelong-learning, nonfiction

He's a bit preachy, and it appears that he will eat anything that doesn't eat him first. So if you want to get your food
thoughts/commentary and dining advice from someone of that perspective, this book is for you. I did like the discussion of food chain supply dynamics. That gives some real perspective. And I thought his advice to seek out restaurants in far flung locations (never in tourist spots) could be helpful. Of course, you have to be eating in France or Spain or Italy or Germany or Tokyo or similar environs for his specific advice to be helpful, but the general points are transferable.
