I bought this book about five years ago and have been meaning to read it ever since. I put it off mostly because I expected it to be much more religiously-oriented than is typically fun for me. Alas, this is not a fun read, and it is, at times, a little dense theologically, but it's also very good and very worth reading. I'm interested in Robinson's follow-up novel _Home_, which is a bit more centered on Jack, who I found incredibly interesting. Hopefully, it won't take me another five years to get to it.
