This book really grabbed me from the beginning and I expected it to end as a five-star book. I was wrong. By the time it finally ended, I was more than ready for it to be over. As someone who knows very little about autism and Asperger's, I found the subject to be very interesting at first, but the information quickly became too much like a series of repetitive boring lectures. I also lost all sympathy for the mother as it became apparent she continually sacrificed one child to neglected as she devoted everything, from meals to her career, to the child with Asperger's.
