Charming little story! I imagine this must be a nice way to learn about Norse Mythology, even though the explanations only occur in the last chapter and are over and done with very quickly, without any real depth to them (view spoiler).

The thing about these clues is though: if you're into Norse Mythology, you can spot them from miles away. Not that that diminishes how much you can enjoy the story, but the book does lack some mystery. And whether or not you are knowledgable about the mythology, the conclusion was far too short and fast-paced to really end the story properly. A few extra pages would have been welcome, in my opinion.
