To me, those who review this book as "So hilarious, I laughed the whole time!!" and "Ugh, this was not funny, AT ALL.", both completely missed the point of this book. First and foremost, this book is a memoir. The telling of Jenny's story in her own voice. While, at times, that voice is completely hilarious, at others it is poignant and vulnerable. Jenny has a gift for taking the events in her life, from squirrel puppets to deaths in the family and viewing them through the lens of humor. I definitely recommend this book.
