Finally a book about an Egyptian female pattern that I can relate to.
As the author made it clear at the beginning; she is portraying women of flesh and blood who are making their way through life.
The book is both light and intense in dealing with the ordeals. The language is simple and witty...close to the heart as well as extremely warm.
I would have loved to see a unity though, intervened stories and contrast
Inji summed up at the end "at the end when you cut to the bone, we are all essentially the same; we are women of great expectations"
