I was hoping to learn a lot from this book, but I'm sad to say I've been left more confused than when I began. The author does manage to sympathize with both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict- no small feat. However I found her writing to be disorganized and, at times, I had a hard time following her thought process. The main drawback for me was the inclusion of far too many names and players, many of which weren't important and distracted from the overall meaning and importance of the story of Dalia and Bashir.
