Heather Killough-Walden creates an exciting, romantic world based on the Archangels, with two enemies (possibly!), one of which is dark and sexy as hell. I love Heather's books and can't wait for the next one, which by the end of the book you find out which Archangel is next

The Archangel Gabriel (the Scottish eye candy of the series), has been waiting 2000 years for her, his Archess, and just as he finds her so do the enemy, the Adarian and Samael.

The story continues 4 months after Uriel finds Eleanore and the fight between the Archangels and the Adarian. Gabriele goes home to Scotland, where he meets Juliette. In true style, in a Scottish tavern. Instant attraction and her sexual hunger for him is not enough for her to trust him, yet. Wooing becomes Gabriel strategy and boy does he woo her. Will she succumb to the wooing?

And where is the dark sexy Samael? Well of course he is involved and up to his old tricks. He's the person who is sponsoring Juliette research trip to Scotland. Who is he really? What is he up too?

Kevin (Abraxos), commander of the Adarian, had a revelation during the battle from the previous book and starts to implement it, but the experiment is having some side effects. He's also still has his sights on Eleanor. His revelation also results in one of his men, Daniel, going AWOL to kidnap Juliette after he sees his future if he stays with the Adarian - Daniel's goal is to prove he is useful, but there's a twist in his fate.
