The God Who Is There
by Francis A. Schaeffer, James W. Sire
by Francis A. Schaeffer, James W. Sire
"Schaffer's ""God Who Is There"" is a systematic analysis of the paradigm shift in philosophy, media, and culture since Hegel and the birth of the ""modern man"". I loved presuppositional approach to historical examples which demonstrated the deterioration of thought since the rejection of true Christianity. While Schaeffer's re-definition of words made his writing difficult to follow at times, I felt that his message was communicated effectively to his readers overall. I recommend this book especially to those interested in the history of philosophy and art, but it is appropriate for all Christians who strive to communicate in the post-modern age."
