I have had a crush on Bernie Parent ever since he played in goal for the Flyers. He's recently been posting many inspiring and uplifting quotes on his Facebook page so I was delighted to see his book at a recent visit to the library
Bernie's book is about living your purpose and establishing your goals and vision to enable you to do that. For those who haven't begun the journey of self-awareness Bernie's book is a good place to start. It has a simple message, be a wolf, following your own purpose but realize you have the support of belonging to a pack.

So many people are finding themselves out of work because the work they did no longer exists or has moved away from where they live so I wish Bernie would have delved deeper into how he made the transition from professional sports to private businessman. Maybe that's Bernie's next book, this one just scratches the surface, but it does open you to reconsider your own possibilities
