it was amazing
bookshelves: memorable

While this did not have that mind ripping, devastating impact The Outsider had on me,this was by no chance any less impactful. However -the resonance it brings towards its climax was not as earth shattering as I had hoped it would be,given the fact that the same author wrote the final 4 pages of The Outsider.Camus here deals with the same themes-crisis of faith, struggle in the face of adversity, existentialist ruminations on the futility of such a struggle,a slew of unforgettable characters and a classic metaphor in the form of a plague.I would recommend this one first to someone new to Camus and then read The Outsider.
